JS.Scob.Trojan and Zone/AC

Would someone else replicate the issue I am having? and post it here.

I'm sure that you are aware of the latest internet scare, the javascript that can download a trojan. The temporary solution is to set your security level to high.

So, I've done this and I can't play Asheron's Call.

I'm starting at classic.zone.msn.com, i've disable my 3rd party cookie manager, i've deleted my zone.msn.com, msn.com, and passport.com cookies.

I sign in immediately, and then start clicking the various links to play Asheron's call. I get cookie messages, do you want to accept this cookie, and I do. I get "disabled ActiveX" messages. Finally, I get to the page, the AC/ACDM page which contains the four lobbies for the two "versions" of the game (the lobbies being silent room, silent room 2, gromnie breath tavern, and empyrean arms inn).

At this page, the flag in the upper right corner of the browser just continues to wave, and nothing happens. I have nothing in my status bar. This flag has been waving for the length of time that it took me to write this message.

Also, I am NOT using decal, nor am I using any type of 3rd party launcher--As far as I can tell, I'm native.

PS. IE6 fully patched except for WinSP1, which has not been installed.

you could always put the gameing zone pages in your safe zone and see if that helps. im guess that without lowering the safety setting lower there is a good chance ac simply wont load because it needs some more then high security wants to grant it.
