View Full Version : Human Slayer Enchantment

Since there really hasn't been many good ideas for Archers in PVP, I came up with this...

I was thinking why not make human slayer arrows that could be fletched and used with loot generated bow's. You could add this enchantment to each type of arrow and element. Im thinking it would use alchemy skill to make the potion and one additional fletching step to add it to each of the arrow heads.

We would finally get the benefits of ageis and weeping.

Of course the slayer enchantment would have to be slight, but it would bring in line the Dmg of the weeping and the Dmg of AR for PVP purpose. This option would do slightly more Dmg that the current weeping. (im referring to 166% mod bows, anything less would do less Dmg)

In addition if the archer so chooses he could either use the "Ageis" bow ( -10% melee) against war magic, or just there regular AR bow (no melee penalty) against melees.

I suggest doing more Dmg because these weapons can be debuffed.

Thou this is not really that much of a fix for archer because we still cannot hit our targets, at least we will be pking with other weapons than weeping.

Note** This option could also be used for melee weapons (325 Skill), kind of like how you add the potion to hollow, to make it deadly. (I think the stuff is bloodhunter)
Again this would have to resemble, but do slightly more Dmg dealt by weeping weapons for each class, based off max dmg from loot weapons.

This may even be viable for mages.

There are tons of things that need to be figure out to actually implement this but...
Flame on, Suggestions welcome.

Not a bad idea, but by the time you're done fletching those arrows it's taken 42 steps =\

The problem isnt archer damage its the ability to hit.

Until they accept that the animation hacks are indeed game breaking you can up the damage all you want and it wont help.

I will definately back this up. A very, and i mean very good mage, will dodge me 4outta 9hits, thats more thatn 50% and its done with ease and consistency. Being an archer, we cant really shoot and stafe(fast) enough to dodge arcs/bolts. And with many 3rd party programs, its even easier to dodge me. Ive watched other archers take ppl like Big Bad Bolt, Lasural, and a few others, but mainly ive seen those two run filters on their wars(i can no longer tell they are casting unless im looking at them) and i seriously hit these guys 1outta 20shots, its fing insane. Arrows should have(according to turbine arrows were going to be harder to dodge but once again, another failure)a larger hit radius around the target. U can dodge them so easily that they can get close enough to lick the fing thing as it goes by and taking no dmg. This needs a big fix along with timers on potions

I dont think it should be able to work with any other imbues and such besides the aegis, seeing how the weeping bow is even if it is "only 30-50 damage" ON 10X TINKED ARMOR there are still some peeps that dont have friends and vassals to give them over 50 bags of steel to tink all their armor, and not to mention the need for a person to tink them that wont take off with the steel/armor. i get hit for about 80-110 w/no tinked armor baned underbaned and pro'd with lvl 7's. Although i agree with the arrows and loot generated use i think it should be you fletch the arrows then use the weeping heart on the stack then it turns them to like deadly weeping arrows and such, but I dont think it should be able to be used with ar, rendering, cs, cb or any of those imbues BESIDES AEGIS. I think that would be the best way to use it seein how the 166% damage mod will already be enough

That may also work korn, base it off a 130 mod.

Edit: now that i think about it, defentally base it off 130% mod,
then i would actually have a use for the craft 7 bows i keep finding.
