video issue

When i pull up AC1 on my laptop i get a message saying to adjust my screen to 1400 x 1050. (That is what i am set at) But when i pull it up it is in a little box in the middle of the screen and it is black all around the edges. I have unchecked the 3D option and the 800x600 and then rechecked them and nothing is helping...Plz help i cant play the game :( :( :mad: :confused:

set everything to 800X600. sounds like you are in 800X600 and displaying in 1400X1050.

second option is to make display fit screen. not sure how to direct you here as you did not say what laptop, OS, vid card or drivers, or what chipset.

try video properties by right clicking an empty part of desktop and selecting properties.

That problem occurs when you try to play AC in windowed mode (if this isn't your problem, sorry) with a resolution higher than your desktop size... If this is your problem, your desktop must be smaller than 1400 x 1050 and it wants you to set IT to that res or higher.
