I am curious as to whether the consequences of this change have been fully considered in terms of the guild social dynamic.
The problem I have is that if my patron was to leave the game then I would be unable to swear back into my monarchy under the new system.
By the same token if my patron wished to leave the monarchy and I did not I would also be unable to sign on to anyone within the monarchy.
I have neither time or desire to be a monarch and even if I did and our long standing monarch was amenable to this then it would require him being willing hand over the mansion to me (not going to happen) and me being willing to give up my cottage to receive the mansion(not going to happen as I love my cottage).
While I can understand the reasoning behind players only being able to sign to those above them at the lower levels I would question its validity when you increase the cap to 275.
I personally feel that at level 100 you should be able to swear to anyone in the game at or above that level and they to you since this would solve the issue.
I understand you want to stop power levelling of lower players via the wheeel system of patronage used by some guilds for mules and other players but the costs of this to the small friendly monarchies such as my own could be ridiculously high.
AC is about the friendships we have all made, many of us having made them over the past 4 or 5 years and that is what has kept us here through through the best and worst of your changes. Most of us form monarchies not with strangers for profit but friends and these changes could prevent this from being possible.
Would you be willing to consider an alternative method or retaining the 126 level as the point where anyone can swear to anyone else of the same level or above? Just for once forget about the chaining and consider the normal AC players and the effect this has on them.
Anyhow any response from the devs on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
