Since the level cap removal will cause some problems, the allegiance system could use an update:

characters no matter what level can swear to each other, but to prevent a 126+ swearing to a level 1 each character will recieve a porportional xp so if that level 126 was producing milllions of xp the level one would only recieve about 100 xp and that proportion recieved would increase as their levels would come closer together.

So you would no longer be able to level a mule simply by swearing early on and passing up but would actually have to play that character to recieve the normal passup. The problem of mule leveling could be solved with a mini non combat game to supplement the hunting aspect.

I wouldn't mind seeing them doing something like AC2 and limiting the amount of XP you can earn via passup for that level (i.e only 25% of your needed XP to advance to the next level can come from passup).

I think it would be best to END PASSUP after 126.

That would go a long way to solving some abuses of the current little thought out system we have now.

If they simply make it so that any 126+ can swear to any other 126+ it would fix it. The problem is not "getting your house in order" or any thing that is in the monarchs control. I just had a person today return to alleg after his patron broke. If he was higher than me he would not be able to return. And we arent talking a couple of levels here, that I could go out and get real quick and get him back in. We are talking BILLIONS of xp pts. Its a huge concern of mine, I sincerely hope they dont nerf monarchs YET AGAIN.

Gee, sounds like the crappy XP system in most low-quality MMO's, where you're limited by your level - not by your skill, and you're punished for not being a certain level.

Bad idea.
