We think the issue may have been resolved... but I need folks to check.
If you receive the Zone ticket timeout error after 7:30PM PST / 10:30 PM EST tonight, please post in this thread. Please let us know which world you were on, and which lobby you were using.

Hmmm, that's a very different issue, and one that is most likely out of our hands unless the Zone itself is completely down -- which it's not.
There's been really strange backbone Internet behavior since Friday -- lots of reports from Cox and Comcast users of strange lag, as well as at least one similar report from the Czech Republic. I am guessing that this is probably related.
I'll see what I can dig up.

I have the same problem,, zone ticket timeout, i tried all worlds cant get in,, its monday 930 Mountain time Pm,, what do we do to get in game?? thx,,,, sorry forgot,, i mainly play frostfell,, and live in arizona

I have Uninstalled AC+Zone, deleted the entire AC+Zone directories and reinstalled and still cannot get IG with just one account of my 3 accounts and of course it is my main account.
Wheres the official post about this as the State of the Netwotk dont say much

Here is something amusing...
I just got it on whatever server Dual Log in puts me on...
At first it worked all normal but when I switched out to cut on decal, thats where I got the problem...

Yeah I havent logged in with my main account for approx 10 hours now, anyone got an ETA on when this will be fixed :(

Yeah, I'm having the same problem ... or at least I think it's the same problem.
I tried entering AC a few different ways. I tried clicking the Asheron's Call Dark Majesty icon on my desktop, when I click on 'Play' a webpage comes up and says 'Cannot find server'. I tried entering with my dual logger and that didn't work, in fact it's strange, my dual logger icon on my desktop won't launch at all now when I double click on it. I tried going through the zone and clicking on the link there and again I get the 'Cannot find server page'.

Ok... I may have a theory here...
Im also having the same problems on one of my 3 machines.
Mine = 900 mhz, My wife = 800 mhz, Buffbot = 500 mhz
It seems to be the slowest one, (processor speed wise). It logs in smoothly without Decal, yet gets an "expired ticket" error when decal is turned on, no matter what buffbot plugin I use.
So I logged my bot on my machine using Decal and the same buffbot software he uses on his slow PC. I got in and buffed members without a hitch.
Could it be that the zone is tweaked a lil short for some slower processors perhaps? Maybe we need to findout the processor speed of those that are having problems?
I have cable and am using a router to connect all 3 PC's to the inernet. All work except the slow one that needs to run Decal.
Just a theory, but worth a try.

Okay I had this issue this weekend.. And I fixed it by renaming the cell.dat file in my AC folder. That lets the game create a fresh one when you log in, and I have not had any problems since.
But before that I couldnt not log into certain chars on the diff worlds, and kept getting the Zone ticket message. Didn't seem to matter if I had Decal running or not.
Hope that helps some of you out! :)

since the entire experience of logging back in tonight has been exasparating to say the least, I am trying to play on FF server, getting zone ticket errors in the wee AM , long after your post said its FIXED.
I found that the continous errors I used to get that caused so many problems (the dreaded client.exe - messed up message)
wasn't the problem so much tonight. Unfortunately, I kept getting blocked from the site and my laptop was able to get in, (2nd try?) so i figured (WRONG) that I had yet another corrupt file problem. SO i UNINSTALLED AGAIN. Now while that networked/routered account is being downloaded/reinstalled,I was able to get into the game, no problem. Then I decided to try decal too, well that was a bad IDEA TONIGHT. started getting client.exe problem messages ,as it blew me out of the zone. SOOOOO... now as I try to get back in, it is the zone ticket debacle ONCE again.
Seems to me, a major multi-account holder (10 at the moment), I spend ½ my time DEBUGGING your game, and PAYING 10X for the privilege. SEEMS to me I am on the HOOK for $100-130 bucks a month for account fees, I shouldn't spend so much time LOGGING IN. (gosh I love the zone/passport login system)

Thank you all for your feedback, I will be sending this information on to our server and network folk.
Right now (1:30PM EST) our top priority is determining what is causing server issues post-event. Once that is completed, if the zone ticket issue is continuing, we will continue investigating.
Ibn, are you including those of us who get client.exe errors when we click Play? I haven't seen that aspect mentioned in any of your posts today so far.

I haven't taken the time to re-post but I am gettin zone ticket errors on two accounts, and two computers on HG< FF <WE.
I can't point to a time of day as it has happened from 8AM to 5AM, no certain log in procedure is at fault, happens with and without decal, AC link or Zone link.
It just happens anytime but is random, not every time.
I can close back to play window and clic play again and get in fine.

I was recieving a message saying "zone timed out" when I tried to connect. I didn't think anything of it at the time and just tried once or twice again and it would start working normally. I play on Frostfell normally between 5:30pm - 1am.

zone ticket expired last nite about 9pm pst howerver was able to reopen and get in np.

I was just in game, Wintersebb... logged out to log on my other account, and the Zone says I have guest only status.
"The .NET Passport servers are currently down. Please try again later."
I can't believe it! I was ingame and now I can't get in because the .NET Passport servers are down???
I rush home, download the patch and now I can't get in? And no where to complain!
:( :( :( :(
Any reports of the Zone ticket issue since the patch? If what we did Monday night didn't fix it, the restart(s) on Tuesday definitely should have.
I'll report... when Decal is fixed ;)

I'm not having any problems anymore since the patch. Everything seems A-OK so far.
I can get in now, no ticket problems; seems fixed. Thanks.
