Am back to AC.

I dunno where to start from, but are there any plans to restore sword damage?

If not please tell me to replan my new toon.

replan ur sword tooon i mean screw it sword is still the highest dmg in the whole game no matter what anyone else says

I posted this because i was shocked when i was trying my weeping sword on my mages armor in VT (New Toons in VT, Quit WE) i was hitting a 335 AL armor for 21 - 38, now ur saying that sword is highest damaging toon???!!! imagine how much this damage gonna be on a 440 AL armor (Quest Item), I dunno how you calculate it. Streaks do way higher damage than this gimpy weeping sword and are faster to cast than a full-swing.

And i really want a reply from one of the admins, if they planning to leave it this way, I think that they are doing a real careless changes and nerfs.

I am still waiting for a reply from one of the admins.

Last post about this was on 9/2 Ibn says.......

Friday and Monday we had the opportunity to go over the threads regarding this complaint in further detail. We also ran a series of in-game tests and punched a lot of numbers into spreadsheets.

In short?

The folks complaining are right. The PK suite katars are outdamaging sword in almost all circumstances, and is outdamaging all other weapons in the suite.

(There are some other issues -- Crossbow and Atlatl may be too weak -- but the Katar is the big one.)

So, now that we acknowledge the issue, when will we be able to fix it?

November at the earliest. This is not a guarantee that things will be fixed in November, but it is a guarantee that we unfortunately can't do it for September or October.

I know a lot of you are thinking, "What took you so long?" Unfortunately due to resource limitations, we weren't able to get the additional analysis on this until now.

But now we do know for sure why what you were seeing didn't match our original numbers, and we also know why our original numbers don't match what's actually happening in the game. Now that we know this, we can get things fixed and fixed right. I apologize for the delay on this, but I'm glad to be able to say I understand where you're coming from now.

The next thing on my plate to run numbers against is the melee defense problem.

So melee (sword) will get to be gimped for prob a few more months till they get around to it. :mad:

I still take that as saying that they are going to take months just to nerf UA. They didn't say jack about putting sword back. They INTENDED to nerf it in the first place. They weren't making it better or something, and then accidentally weakened in. He never said they had changed their decision.

Alot of points, I mostly agree with VC,,,,,,, i hope they don't nerf ua.

Yes please do let us know, so I know whether or not to clear out my sword character. I already ONLY play my mage now, sword = worthless in pvp.

A simple yes/no would be great, then we can start re rolling.
