What's the story behind that thing? It's a lighthouse right? Well, normally found by a body of water right?

Any known stories or theories? I kinda thought it was a beacon of some type in times of war. Fort Teth is below it, if a huge fire, a-la Lord of the Rings, is lit on it, then the small towers scattered throughout the dires could catch sight and light a fire as well as a way to send for help or to warn against oncoming attackers. That's meh theory anyway, unless theres something definite behind it.

Sounds like a good theory. :)

Also, didn't the ancients have flying ships? So even though it's not by a body of water, there are mountains nearby, so if the weather was bad, they could use the lighthouse as a beacon.

I was under the impression that the lighthouses also served as docks for the flying ships... The one in Greenspire for example has a bunch still docked ^_~

I'd imagine the one near teth was just sort of an 'Airport'.

Those are skytowers, not skyships.

Ahh sorry, I still think of them as 'Advocate towers' so I forget their proper name...

That reminds me actually, I would love to see what a skyship actually looked like... Not ingame probably, since that'd be pretty hard to do, but maybe as just a piece of out of game artwork ^_^

How about a crashed Skyship on the new island in the XP?
