Dev question about the portals in AC and AC2

I have been wondering if the portals warp time as well as space ?
I mean we all know the Empyrean could create portals to other worlds so could the portals penetrate the fabric of time as well as space ?
If so this opens up the possability of creatures and being from the past or the future coming to either AC or AC2.

Portal space, in theory, is the energy currents between planes of existance. So really, we could travel to the future, yet it could be in a alternate reality. Also, portal space could be used to jump through time, much like Einstien's theory of relativity, as you travel closer and closer to the speed of light, time slows down, you age a hour, yet the rest of the universe could age a week, so I think portal space could do this due to it denies all laws of physics, and from what I understand travels faster then light, much like a wormhole. And if your confused about this, go read a book.
