....make everyone one level and just leave them there?
You say the XP lever is all about making everyone equally powerful and that DT playstyle is all about killing, not questing.
So fine. Where is the server going to be in 6 months? Everyone will be level 275.
Why go through the motions and give everyone a maxxed out character at the start? Everyone can immediately start killing all over the server, not just in these dungeons.

You could say the same thing about macroing, but is everyone level 275? No. No one is on DT, or in the entire game, at least as far as I know.
I highly doubt that the intention is to receive so much xp from talking to the NPC that everyone will suddenly become completely maxed out.
Yeah, some people will reach higher levels pretty quick, but for once, it really won't be the super high level macro guys really benefiting.
Besides, I'm sure there will be a new PK server rolling around fairly soon. The expansion is bound to bring in enough support for one.
There have already been plenty of maxed out characters on DT for quite a while, so it's not like DT was going to last too long like that in the first place. There's really no way to get rid of them, so that's the way it is going to have to be in the end. People aren't going to put up with trying to make a level 200 character without big chains forever while there are a bunch of other people killing them that managed to make one before hand.

Because the point of this wasnt just to make everyone higher level. IMO the biggest thing this is doing is bringing everyone out to fight and defend something. No one in the game will pass up trying to hold this place and they will be forced to fight and it will be the most amazing pvping ever.
