We are currently investigating multiple reports of poor server performance and high lag (high ping times and packet loss), particularly in Tusker Island dungeons.

When we have more information, we will let you know.

Over the past day or so, many players have reported issues with server performance in several of the dungeons on Aphus Lassel. After investigating these reports, we believe that we have found the cause of these issues. In short, some rogue tuskers in these dungeons are placing badly, causing the server to get stuck in a loop. Unfortunately, fixing the problem may take some little time, so in the meantime we will be eliminating the creatures in the affected dungeons in order to improve performance for the rest of the server. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary condition might cause. We will do out utmost to restore these dungeons to their natural state as quickly as possible.

Currently the following dungeons have been changed due to this issue:

Tusker Holding
Tusker Tunnels

This list will be updated as necessary.

As per this announcement (http://forums.turbinegames.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1944) we are restarting Morningthaw to add greater logging to provide more information on this issue.

Morningthaw is coming back up. Thank you for your patience, we are working hard to find a resolution to this issue.

OK, Morningthaw is back up but we haven't seen a reoccurance of the issues that we're trying to log and diagnose.

SO, we've turned the Tuskers back on, and we're hoping you can go hunt them for a while. Basically we WANT the high lag to reoccur, at least for a little bit, so that the issue gets logged.

Again, this is just on Morningthaw.

We've gotten some good logs from MT, they should definitely help us diagnose this issue.

We're going to have to shut down the Aerlinthe quest on MT unfortunately.

We are still working very hard on this, right now there is additional logging that we would like to do. We may take one of the worlds down -- not MT this time, most likely HG -- to set this up later this week. As soon as I have more information, I'll post it.

We'll be restarting HG tomorrow morning to add additional logging. We all still working very hard on this issue.

Good news -- if you hadn't noticed yet, Aerlinthe is active again on MT. We were able to make some changes allowing us to reactivate it.

When Darktide was restarted, the Tusker dungeons that had been emptied repopulated, creating severe lag across the world. Those dungeons have been re-emptied.

We've gotten good results from the logging on Harvestgain and are still investigating this issue.

The logging that we added to Harvestgain has been very useful, so we'll be restarting the other seven worlds with this logging on Tuesday morning. Specific ETAs when I get them.

This build should also resolve the issue preventing folks from using Vincadi's Harbinger portal, and the restart should resolve the issue with the character screen message on Darktide.
