View Full Version : Poor design problem with the Turbine Accounts that should be fixed :(

I wanted to see what e-mail address I had registered my TurbineGames account to, and just see in general what other information I had plugged in.
After a bunch of fruitless poking around the website, I can't find it. Most other stuff you sign up for, there's a button for 'user information' or 'personal information' or whatever that gives you that option.
Any chance we could see that added to the Turbine Games site?

I went looking for the change password and billing info page. Probably hidden in the same place?

It is very easy to find. Just start the Turbine launcher and click on the maintain account button on the first panel (the one with user id and password). This button will take you to the billing server, Here the link:
https://billing.turbinegames.com/?page_id=47
if you do not want directly.
It probably would be a good idea if the entry link was also on the Turbine customer service page for customers using Turbine billing system. I suspect Turbine thought that everyone would use the launcher and never considered that any one would try to get to their accounts from their regular web site.

I found it right after I posted last. Once you log in an account, that option goes away. I was sure I had seen it, but it doesn't show once an account is logged in. Go figure.

... Turbine thought ...
... never considered ...
Funny how this "game" can still be amusing even if I can't play it anymore (due to Turbine's well and "professional" designed new billing system).
Isn't it time to get real pros on Turbines payrol?

Apologies, I had been under the assumption that this had already been done. You are absolutely right and the link will be there later today.
