I would like to see Pvp kills tracked. We track deaths counts. Why not player kills?

I am not asking for any kind of rating or point system. I would like to see how many other players I have killed.

Here's to hoping that if such a thing were added, it would be based on whether someone got looting rights, rather than who got the killing blow on a kill. PKHunter demonstrates why basing it off the killing blow is a bad idea. All in all, a points system might actually be better than simply counting kills, since otherwise you'll have a bunch of newbie campers with mega-high scores. Maybe make each kill worth the victim's level multiplied by the percentage of damage the killer did (to compensate for ganks), or something.

You get Xp for PK kills just like monsters you get more for higher levels maybe it should be based on that for a ranking system.

I like the Idea too but I still would like to see a total kill count. A rank system would be a plus though :)


Another good thing about making pk ranking based on xp is you will get lower points when you sit at a drop and gank people people due to the way fellowship cuts the down the xp.

So if you are ganking in fellow at a drop your score will not rise as fast because the xp will drop as more people enter your fellow.

Well, we could probably pretty easily add a system that would track # of players killed...

...which would immediately be meaningless thanks to folks who would sit in their mansion basements and repeatedly kill level 1 mules to push their score higher. :)

Adding a system that tracks kills in any meaningful fashion -- such as unique characters killed, or kills at or above your level, or anything like that -- becomes more complicated.

ibn do it like TerrorScout said, make it based off exp. Im sure you could just add in a "Pk Skill" that makes it to where you can only get exp put into it by killing ppl.

Add some code in making someone who has 5 or more vitae worth 0 exp and we have something there.

The xp idea is the best. I think the vit should be up at 10% tho, cuz I can fight on my char at the same level until about 10%, than it gets to be a bit of a prob
