Make a use for the pk arenas!

Why dont they just make the pk arenas that no one go to a better place for all pk/l? Make it so that the major towns have a portal to the arena. In the arena put a ls and maybe some small town maybe. Than add mulitple portals for levels i.e 15-25 26-35 and so forth and than add one portal thats a free for all. Just make it a long surface of some sort and maybe add some places to hide inside. This would make so people actually have a place to fight at.

Heck I thought thats what those things did when they came out. You turned into a pk if you went into them or something. But oh well, they've got that now.

There should be like an "arena" recall. Type /arena or do a quest for a spell or something. People just go to fight and that's it. Just one huge area with nothing.

We have enough arbitrary recalls to places in the name of convenience. There must be a better way than that. Portal gems would be a good option.

Recalls are good for frequently used, if everytime you died you needed to pop a gem, you'd probably not bother and just fight where you were standing. a recall, or portal to near LSes in towns, would be more likely to be used, much as the marketplace is used more than Subway, (or on SC Qal =D) used to be.

Yes, it's convenient, but it makes no sense. Suddenly you're able to wriggle around a bit and instantly portal to a new place. No components, no words, no nothing. Half the time, not even any mana used. With Lifestones, the original use of this, it make some sense. Even with housing and mansion recalls, it almost makes sense. But with Marketplace, PKL, and now the proposed "Arena" recall... that's just too much. Why not just let us walk through walls, or type in coordinates and portal there instantly? And how do you explain it all?

yea definitly should be a spell, could involve a cool quest, being it PK related. Make people battle for it! lol

That would keep it to PKs only in there, if people can't freely come and go, like a portal in a town would offer (recall scroll quest could still be an option), heck theres a portal to baishi right in Ayan, put an Arena portal next to it!

Just make portals. Gems would be dumb because you would want to get lots of them to get back there. Just put them in the town halls! Bam. Now there is a use for town halls and the pk arenas. Or what they could do is put certain portals to the arenas, ditch the town inside the arenas before the level req portals to fight and make a use for towns.

Recalls would be a nice idea. ^_^ Though I'm sure it would just turn into another drop off that can be camped, expecially on DT.

If the goal here is to get PKs to move out of Ayan Baqur and into the Arenas (Which I agree, would be nice), then we have to look at what exactly Ayan offers that makes it attractive to PKers, and duplicate it in the Arenas with a slight improvement. It's that simple. Doesn't need to be a big improvement, or even an improvement that benefits everyone. As long as it benefits a large enough portion of the PK community, even if it's a tiny, miniscule benefit that really doesn't make much difference, they'll flock to it. And the rest will follow.

is it possible for u to put a switch at some the off the beaten track castles that u have too be pk or pklite to use it and once u hit it it gives u a global that says (ur name and wat monarchy ur from here) has taken (___) castle in (town or region) do u dare try to take control back

Ayan offers a large amount of people, an accessiable location, and decent hunting/vitae ridding spots.

Another idea I have is they could in each town have level restricted portals that would take you to a pk/l only dungeon. In these dungeons have vendors that have a good buy rate, master mage, no ls in there and some specials monsters at the bottom that drop special pyreals that you could turn in for something special. Make these monsters worth no xp and maybe put some sort of timer on these items. I have many other ideas to change but its not gonna happen heh.

That would definitly be awesome! there'd have to be a benefit to hold the castle maybe for it too be used, but Would DEFINITLY give a good reason for PKS to have something to do besides just fight each other and talk smack about their Animation Glitching Skills. (AGS) ;D

That just gives the castle to the guild with the most amount of people on at the time. Besides, its kind of already like that with monarchies protecting their macro dungeons and all.
