Authentication Issues

We are aware that some users may be experiencing a problem involving invalid login/authentication information. We apologize extensively for this inconvenience, but the good news is that we have been able to address/reproduce the issue and that Ops is currently working their tails off to get a fix in place.

I do not yet have an ETA for you, but we will post here as soon as one is available.

We are continuing to investigate the appropriate avenue to take in resolving this. An ETA is not yet available, though we will continue to make updates to this thread.

Many players are reporting that they are once again able to log in. We will be observing this issue very closely until we are sure any remaining issues are also resolved.

The cause of this situation appears to be related to general networking problems, hence the sporadic and seemingly unrelated error messages that users were receiving. A number of server restarts and other measures have begun to remedy this situation, as our players are reporting a number of successful connections.

Please note that for the time being, there may still be some trouble with the AC Launcher displaying an unrelated error message. You should still be able to log in despite this error, though we have the relevant parties working on it as I write this.
