If you have questions or concerns regarding board policy, please contact myself or Ibn directly and we will do our best to provide an appropriate response. Posting about it will, unfortunately, result in a lock.

In many cases, explanations may be easily found in our rules thread (http://forums.turbinegames.com/showthread.php?t=8344). It may be a good idea to consult them prior to formulating such inquiries. Thanks. -Ald

I am sick and tired of seeing tons of posts being edited, locked, and deleted, often for no good reason, and then never getting any responses.

I just happened to notice this:

http://forums.turbinegames.com/showthread.php?t=20682

Really, what was the point of that? You didn't even explain why. There really is no reason why you should do that. How funny.

It's not like I am getting all worked up over that just because I started the thread or something. It happens ALL the time, and it has really gotten old lately.

If you can do that for no good reason, you can at least make a genuine response for every 10 times you do it.

Turbine enforce their ToS & CoC too harshly... I work in Real Estate & we have company guidelines & stuff, but like this happened on Thursday, a house was due to settle at 3pm, the buyers had just had their final inspection... was 1pm... they came back & said it was fine, I called the solicitors & they said settlement was looking fine... By law we're not allowed to give keys out until settlement, but I knew they'd just have to come back & waste their time, so I said Don't worry about it, the house is vacant anyway, Good Luck!

Sure I might have broken a rule or two but they left the office saying Thanks Grant! Thanks for your good service! (along those lines, gave me a great reference).

YES maybe you do have to ban people for swearing & for harassment, but use some bloody common sense too... no need to be harsh right to the dotted line with your customers.

Dealing with people on the net is tricky, I get that, most people who wouldn't abuse you IRL don't mind doing it over a computer. Be a little flexible & a bit less "distant & professional" with the customers.

They ban people for a week for things like calling people idiots when they say things that are very clearly wrong and stupid. It makes no sense. Some people get banned because they say something rash after they get frustrated with how Turbine handles things. That's entirely the opposite of what they should be doing.

Thats why people get tired of them or dont get them any respect. Turbine is ran by a bunch of morons, with spongebob as their spokesman and a grizzly bear as the executive producer.
