I want to activate an OLD account. It has been a few years since I used it. The trouble is, I know the old zone name and password only. I don't think I ever tied it to an email account, lol. So when I try to activate it using the zone launcer, it asks me to put in email addy and password. It used to just be zone name and password to log into the zone. I am trying to find my old disc for the number off of it in case that will help, I just have to dig for it, hehe. Any ideas?

Wow! It has really been a long time since you've used the account. You never migrated from the oldest billing system to the passport based zone. Turbine is currently in migration from the second billing system (Microsoft passport / zone) to thier own billing system. Microsoft is currently scheduled to shut their system down for AC at the end of the month. It was supposed to already be shut down at the end of March.

My suggestion is you start of by contacting Turbine billing support when they come in on Monday afternoon and asking them how to proceed. There is a very time consuming and complicated procedure for getting your account up on Microsoft and then migrating it to the Turbine system.

Unfortunately, you are going to need help from Microsoft and probably Turbine if you go this way. Based on other poster's comments, Microsoft is in the process of reducing support and staffing levels and not very helpful.

Turbine provides both telephone support and email support via their Fuze - Ask a question system.

The page also has a section for Microsoft billing. You are welcome to read it and try it on you own. Microsoft is slow. It is not unusual for them to take several days to response to an inquiry.

Billing sucks in this new turbine server. I got new credit card, would not update, I updated billing information and cannot get back in game on two accounts. Bought two more accounts used serial number on one to try and get back in all toons lost years of work gone. Used to be able to get account straight on microsoft and subscribe. Turbine requires key to subscribe, don't do it, you lose all your toons. No billing support on weekends, lost two accounts and they wonder why people leave this game. Idiots! If I do not get my years of hard work back on my two accounts they can kiss me good bye also, IDIOTS!!
