View Full Version : How do we handle multiple accounts with TOD expansion?

I have in my hot little hands two copies of the "pre-order" pack for TOD. It says in the box that I must use the code off of the DVD's before I log on the retail version for the first time. Do I have to use 2 separate PC's to do this since I have two accounts? What is the EXACT procedure for ensuring I add the bonus pre-order items to both accounts? This seems like it could be easily screwed up resulting in the loss of the bonus items. Thanks!

Wrong board. :)
To enter the pre-order code, log into your Turbine billing account via https://billing.turbine.com. You should see a link that will allow you to enter your AC:TD pre-order code. Put it in, submit it, and it should say that you pre-ordered AC:TD successfully (it's a bit of a misleading message.) Then, log out and repeat the process with your other account and pre-order code.
When you put it the full AC:TD key (when the game is released) you should be able to login and receive both gems. Remember that you need two different keys for this step as well.
That's my understanding, at least.

I guess this is the wrong board - oops. Thanks for the info. So I can go to the link you specified and enter my information now? That would be great!

hmm, and what happens to the people that wind up putting in the other code first?
Sounds like it is going to be easy for people to screw up. I mean, if they have the code, is it really going to matter if its put in after the ToD code?

Nerice,
I do not know either. I do know from writing software over the years that if there is any possible way that a human can foul it up - it will happen.
I certainly would not require or code the software so that a customer has to put the keys in bonus followed by expansion. It does not take many calls to customer service to pay for the development cost that the flexibility would require.
