Ok was chatting to someone earlier and they seemed to think that you would require your AC:TOD preorder key to access the new content in the preview.

Can you confirm or deny this please IBN.

You should read this article:

It seems pretty clear from this article that anybody whose PC can run Throne of Destiny can get into the preview. If you are on dial up, the download is going to be a hassle.

That is not to say that getting a key will be easy. There may be more interested people than there are keys. It may also be a problem getting on the world because the world reached its population limit.
