Question regarding "Existing Account"

I don't fully understand the following information.
My question is...if I DO have an existing account, but it's not on Leafcull, do I make a new account? Or log in with my existing account? (It's probable clear to most...but not to me.)
If this has already been asked, I appologize.

If you're an existing Asheron's Call player with characters on the world of Leafcull, we recommend that you use your existing Turbine Billing account – your characters on Leafcull have been copied to Destiny, the Open Preview world!


If you don't already have a Turbine Billing account, that's fine! You can create one at the same time that you register your Key.


Once you've got your key, go to Turbine Billing. Either log in with your existing account or click continue under "I already have a Product Key".

Once you're logged in, or once you create your new account, click the yellow "Subscribe" button to the right of Asheron's Call: Throne of Destiny Preview. You'll be prompted for your key, go ahead and enter it.

Its saying that if your account has a character on the world of LC you can use your characters on that account for TOD.

You have a Leafcull account whether you have/use any characters on LC or not. Just register the preview with your main account. You'll probably have a bunch of rank mules on your Destiny world tied to your account when you start up. If there's one that's decent then I'd just go ahead and get the gems to level it up. Otherwise you'd have to wait an hour to delete one.

Don't worry about deleting one on Destiny since it won't impact anything on LC.

actually you won't have to wait at all ... unless of course you used the bug to get your 7th character slot.

Gordian, I have no characters on LC. That was what was confusing me. I didn't know if I had to start up a "new account". Thanks for the input.

I have characters on LC but when I try to log in to Destiny they not showing up. Whats up with that? I've had these toons long time on LC so not like new.
