View Full Version : I'm glad this is only the preview...

I go to my Account Maintance,
subscribe to the TOD Preview,
enter my preview key, then enter my billing info...

It times out and tells me that there was an error saving my info please try again...

I try again, and it tells me my preview key is already in use. Well duh, it's in use because I used it.
So now I'm stuck because I don't have a valid preview key....

That's simple enough to fix, I can just go to file planet and get a new key to use...

However, if this was the CD key given to me in the retail release I'd be totally screwed.



So basically my point/question is this;
What do we do when this happens during the retail release?

Actually I tried getting a new Key from file planet. It gave me the same one I had before. Now the site has I have tried to enter an invalid key too many times and to try back later.

Yeah, happened to me too, but I just made another fileplanet ID with another hotmail e-mail address :p

Yeah, Go Turbine! lol :rolleyes:

In billing info, I entered my key, then hit next, then all my info was already there (using my account I already have a sub with), so I checked the "agree" boxes, and got this error:

Enter the credit card number
Enter the credit card cvm code
Enter your first name
Enter your last name
Enter the credit card expiration month
Enter the credit card expiration year
Enter an address line 1
Enter your city
Enter your country
Enter your state or province



I checked to make sure everything was right, which it was, rechecked the boxes, and hit continue again. I got this error: "The system could not add your subscription at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later."


So I waited like 10-15 minutes, filled out the form again (it brought me back to the main page so I had to re-enter my CD-Key), and now it says that my CD key is already being used. So before, it processed half of it, but then gave me that stupid ****ing error at the second form, and won't let me re-do it. And now I'm ****ed, since FilePLanet gives the same CD-Key every time.
