Me too...It just sits there and twirls... and after awhile crashes to desktop, wish Turbine would help people that can't get in instead of helping the ones that are in.

I get the connecting vial... but get stuck on updating and eventually I get a server connection error.. BTW.. This has ALWAYS Happened to me, even on the real AC servers, and have only ever been able to play on my wireless computer.. Tried to use my non wireless computers and they get this same error.. NEVER got a straight answer from Turbine.. only a port issue, which doesn't even explain w hy my wireless computer can access the game

I get stuck on vials for about a minute, then get dropped to desktop. No error messages, no nothing.

I have shut off my firewall to get this far. Yet, I can play AC1 just fine with my firewall running.

I'm curious as to a fix as well.

I can't log in to the preview or ACDM, I get the connect vial to fill, then it just hangs for a bit and crashes on both. It's starting to get annoying.

it could very well be just busy servers, i had it a few times yesterday and just kept trying after some attempts and waiting a while i got in.

maybe a solution for some people...

The game just doesn't work through my router what so ever. I even tried to put my comp on the DMZ and it still doesn't work. (Eliminating Port Fowarding).

As soon as I plug my modem directly into my comp I can connect to asheron's call no problem.

I'm afraid buying the game won't be an option if I can't play with a router.
