...I can safely say that I will NOT be buying the expansion. The new graphics engine absolutely kills it. I have my color settings just the way I like 'em (gamma, contrast, etc.), but every time I enter the game it resets them all to default. It makes the game VERY dark. I can adjust this a little using the in-game brightness control, but frankly, it just looks UGLY. Not only that, but after I exit the game I have to go back to my color settings and adjust them back the way I want them.

No. Not gonna happen.

Yer kidding, right? Every game I play looks different because the manufactuers don't know what my settings are, and I don't expect them to. This sounds like a 'hate AC' cop-out to me.

Well, I like the expansion so Turbine'll be getting my $30 for it.

create a profile for them and it's a single clic to get the settings back.

btw I don't have that problem. try updating drivers and all that.

Jokes on you. You get the new graphics engine with or without buying it and you don't have the option not to have it.
