Leafcull copied, toons missing?

I'd been interested in testing the new high level content, but... how exactly did you copy leafcull? Because my toons didn't copy. Level ~136 mage included. She exists on the same account on the live servers, I just logged her in to make really sure she was there. Her birth is in 01/2001, so it's not a "recent create"

Judging by error messages as I went thru trying to create a new toon with the name of all my old toons, they do exist in the database -- their names are taken. But I don't see any of them in my ToD window. I have entered my preorder keys along with the ToD preview key. I've been reactivated since before the copy was made, I believe (but don't know for sure).

Now, maybe I shouldn't worry, but this'd be a really, you know, bad bug to have at launch. I know others who are seeing their toons (aged weeks ago). I know others who see none of them. But they do exist in world, obviously.

(Help, I've lost myself! If you find me, have me wait here for myself until I return!)

have you logged on with the turbine account which also holds the subscription for the account that contains the lvl 136 leafcull character? did you create a new turbine account for this?

but if you just wait a while then there will be level up tokens for everyone so everyone can check out the higher level content.

Actually, I had the same problem. I have one character on Leafcull (Eric the Grey) and he is not available, nor is the name.

Not that it matters all that much to me, as he's not leveled much, but those with good equipment might want to use familiar characters.

I am the same way. When Leafcull opened I created all 5 toons with my favorite names. Never played them but they were there from Leafcull beginnings. They are not available or accessable to me. Doesnt matter to me either at this point in the game.

I used my exiting account to install preview and only destiny server came up.
Did I screw myself by not using a new account and/or where is the info for this "copy" stuff?....

You did everything right. Turbine copied the Leafcull character database about a month ago to create the Destiny server, so those of us with characters on Leafcull got "copied" to Destiny -- when we logged onto Destiny, all of our characters were in place (or were supposed to be and weren't, which is the purpose of this thread).

Folks who didn't have characters on Leafcull a month ago have totally empty character slots when they launch Destiny.

You can't copy your characters from any world onto Destiny at this point.
