These gems are nice but there is one problem with them...
if you put both gems in your hotkey #1 And #2....since there is no timer on useing them you can sit there and spam 12121212121221212121212 over and over and over and lag EVERYONE.....once the game goes live people will do this just to be annoying. i did it myself and was lagging people...i can't imagine 10 people doing it or 20 heck 50...it's going to happen problem needs to be fixed ASAP IMO....way to fix this is once you use the gem and the affect is on you...you're not able to use the gem again untill the affect of the gem wears off...problem solved, but this will cause major lag if not changed. :eek:

How is this different than running around with the butterfly neck like people used to do in sub like crazy? Report them to the admin and move on with your life. I don't see this as a needs-a-code-fix.

LoL exactly. I figured this out on my main char when DM was new. I tested it out at my guild mansion one day, slam the hotkey for the butterfly necklace as fast as you can. Your character virtually dissapears in a cloud of butterflys and everyone around you locks up in video lag solid.


Those gems wont even come close to beating that necklace.



Turbine will just handle it like they do all the other annoying spammers. Ive seen Admins ban people on HG for portal spamming Marketplace. I dont see why they wouldent do the same for abuse like this.
