After about 2 hours of fitzing around with my new router, it's back and capable of supporting multiple computers playing AC.
Now I have the problem, that I can't log in to the ToD preview...well scratch that, I've never been able to log in to it.
I've already installed/used the key for it(on my account), and I've actually uninstalled/reinstalled in a few times too.
Any thoughts?

Same problem. Had hoped that router issues would be fixed with ToD.
Would like to know which ports ToD is using. My firewall/router is set-up correctl, but without Dual Client, no way to assign those ports on the client computers running AC.

I am having the same Issue, i geuss turbine didn't think of how many spouses Follow the addiction :(.
I pre-ordered my ToD, but after seeing this Mess I'm considering not wasting my money, I stuck it out for 4-5 Patchless months.
Lag, Disconnects and Server Full i can handle, but there is alot more wrong then just that.

Yeah, my husband and I play together as well... I'll cancel our pre-orders if I cannot get it working during beta. We had the same problem after migration, spent days and 3 different router types to get it to work, am not going through that again. :p

Aye, for what we are getting i could live without AC (sad to say) we have a new born and it probly wouldn't hurt us to get outside more. LoL

I play AC on 3 computers on my network and have no problems logging them all in at the same time.
All I did was set up the ports as suggested by Turbine.

ToD uses the 5000 ports.
This is what I had to do to get it to work:

BTW: No ports forwarded at all and I have multiple firewalls, XPs and Sygates.

with me my phyiscal fire wall was fine it was the software firewall giving me issues had to allow TCP DUP and both for both the aclauncher.exe and client.exe for the new desinty stuff. And them all to Any port.

After about 5 hours of futzing around today...I got it fixed by returning the router I got yesterday, and buying a new one. D-Link>Netgear. It doesn't have the same kind of port problems.

If you edit the file in your My Documents\Asheron's Call\UserPreferences.ini
Then you can force the port.
