..So I had some fun with the little white bunny 2 days ago. Figured I'd clear the vp with 2 tusks instead of hunting. But when I turned them in, I didn't receive any xp.
The char is however 275 and doesn't get anymore xp.. but shouldn't atleast the vp get reduced with the tusks?

This situation is not good.

Hmm, I can see it not giving you expendable XP but should still be applied to any XP needed to work off a vitae penalty.

I foresee a future where level 275 characters become unplayable over time and repeated deaths.
Perhaps this is a design feature, not a bug?
That sounds like a joke, but the more I think about it, the more I have to wonder . . . There was talk long ago of an Elder system, where you could quickly gain god-like powers, but death was permanent.

As if there is any point in playing characters past the early 200s in the first place?
Seriously, what fun is it to be best/maxed at everything?
There is far more challenge in creating a good character when your experience is capped and your level is capped. AC is totally Monty Hall with this upcoming exploitation... err Expansion.
People harped that WOW would just be Diablo 2 all over again yet it was AC that became that a long time ago and now only reinforces the idea.

just because you don't have fun playing your characters doesn't mean others don't.

I do believe you've found a bug! If you haven't already, please report this via the Fileplanet bug database (http://www.fileplanet.com/betacenter/asheronscall/bugsubmit.aspx).
Looking at the code, this is a problem that should only affect quests that award level proportionate XP, and only when you are level 275. Flat XP quests and creatures will still allow you to work off your vitae at level 275. We should be able to get a fix in fairly simply, although because of the constraints we're under right now I can't guarentee that it will be in for launch. Luckily, no one will be level 275 on the day that we launch.

Wasn't sure this was a bug or not, thus I haven't reported it.
Will do so now though, thanks. :)
