I've registered both the pre-order key and the expansion key at Turbine's billing site. When I click the icon to start the game, I get a 7th character slot, but cannot create a Viamontian character because it requires the ToD expansion.

I played the preview. Do I need to install the expansion CD to create a Viamontian character?

Go completely out of AC.

Then go back to char select.

Should be able to make a blue guy (or gal:-) then.
