I get a blue screen with IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL at the top whenever I alt-tab while in AC Dark Majesty or if some application causes AC to minimize.

I have a Leadtek Winfast A380 Ultra video card
Chip Type: GeoForce FX 5950 Ultra
256MB onboard memory
Display mode 1024 X 768 (32 bit) (75Hz)

My system is a:
Windows XP (32 bit)
MSI Motherboard model MS-6702
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0GHz
1GB RAM
Direct X 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

I'm using the latest video driver.

I'd hate to start fiddling with my video cards settings and turning off things if anyone knows exactly what I should change.

That error may be caused by one of the following:

a) Overclocking the video card

<or>

b) an IRQ conflict with another PCI card

<or>

If you are not doing A, check my post about IRQ conflicts, down on sugggestion #4.

I'm not overclocking, and I'm using the sound chip on the motherboard, not an add on card.

I will try swapping the memory chips.

Swapping memory chips didn't make a difference.

Did I mention that the error message is on a blue screen and the PC reboots? I see two other threads now with BSOD.... wonder if they're getting the same error.

Hmm, still looks like an IRQ conflict with something. Do you have any other addon cards other than the video card?

When you get it next time, look at the bottom of the BSOD and see if you can see a driver name listed..
