More information to add to not being able to log in.

I directly connected my Teryon TJ715x Cable Modem to my IBM T41 Laptop and I still cannot log into the game properly.

Without even using a router, a firewall or otherwise I cannot get into the game at all.

I am using Comcast's internet service in California.

The combination of router+modem does not seem to be my issue at all and it appears to either be server side based or protocol bound.

I just got done upgrading my drivers to the latest ones available and no change.

I should try to install AC on one of my Voodoo5 boxes and see what happens.

Ok I went from my laptop to one of my old desktops and the game works.

Same settings, same internet, same everything else.

The desktop has an old GeForce MX440 in it and the laptop has an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000.

They both behave exactly the same except the desktop works and the laptop does not.

Unless it is something specific to laptop architecture I am going to throw in that it is the video card issue.
