do i have to get a retail key?

i got my preorder box at bestbuy a month or so ago, and just finally got around to opening it. I saw the key on the dvd so I put registered that on turbine billing, but I can't access any ToD stuff yet. So do I have to take my box in to get the retail key too?

Once you get the ToD box, it will have another code on the CD, use that Key to Upgrade your AC DM account to AC ToD...

the Preorder Box you got from Best Buy can (perhaps) be used when you get the ToD box (From Best Buy, if they get it) at the discounted price...
