If, let's say, someone had a ToD CD-key but gave it to you, so you migrated your account with it and w/e.

If they still know the CD-key, can they like, somehow take your account if you used that key?

That's correct..... A Cd key is only good for one use, so if they did try to use it they would get a message that might say something like this......The ToD key has already been used please call turbine for help.......(this isn't the exact wording, but you get the ideal).
And as long as they don't have your username and password your safe.
