New to AC

Hey guys

I have decided to start playing Asherons Call but before i buy i need a few questions answered.


If i buy Ahserons Call : Throne of Destiny will i be up to date with all the previous things in the AC series and be playing the same thing as everyone else?


About how many people are on each server?


What is the deal with Asherons Call 2? It seems like there is more emphasis put on AC: ToD and its contents. Do alot of people play AC:2?


Was wondering if there is a website where i can see what different character classes/ models there are.

Howdy, I will try to answer, but my answers are not "Official" as in from Turbine, I am just another player like I hope you will be.

If i buy Ahserons Call : Throne of Destiny will i be up to date with all the previous things in the AC series and be playing the same thing as everyone else?
Yes and no, you will be playing the same game as the rest of us are, but some of us have had years of playing and collecting items that you will not have... that can include items that are no longer offered in the game.


About how many people are on each server?

Best guess is several hundred

AC 2 is a different game, connected to AC 1 by its name, and little else... I am not sure here, but I think the populations on the AC2 servers are lower then AC

First is "Classes"... AC is a Skill based game, not class based, you can create (or gimp) your character in a slew of different ways... the game does not do it for you.
