The two month free trial for returning members has me thinking about coming back to AC1. The only problem is, I hear a lot of old accounts were deleated and I have no clue how to reactivate my old account. Anyone able to direct me to a place for help with this? thanks

Call Turbine's customer service.

When you come to these boards at the upper left there is the logo of AC ToD. Click that one and you will be directed to the homepage of AC ToD. There click the line Throne of Destiny Launch page. On this page you find information about how to start again.
Hope this will help you.

It is unlikely that your account has been deleted unless you haven't played in about 5 years. All you need to do to get your account back is to go to the three-point authentication page located at:

https://billing.turbine.com/index.php?page_id=65

All you need to know is one of your characters' names, which world that character is on, and the zone name for your MSN Zone account. If you can't remember that info, you will have to start from scratch.

Also, the 60 days requires you to buy ToD, so it isn't really free. If you can't migrate your old account, you only get the 30 days that everyone gets for buying ToD.

Then you will need to contact Turbine billing services for help. By phone:

Turbine Billing Support Phone Number (12:30 PM EST - 8:30 PM EST, Mon - Fri): (781) 407-4020

or via the internet:
http://www.fuzeqna.com/asheronscall/consumer/question.asp

Some computers are just simply unable to handle the security text. Most likely it is a setting or something like a pop-up blocker. I just have no clue what to check or change.

Your problem is probably as Yula described, but DO make sure that you are not substituting the letter O on your keyboard for the number zero, or the letter I on your keyboard for the number one. The security test will certainly make a distinction between them. That has hung me up numerous times in dealing with passwords/security tests.
