Probably not the most popular idea but it sure would make sense.

Why not wipe the slate clean ( one time move of people wanting to ) of PvP from white servers and move them all to DT.

Create an DT ONLY Developer team to hash out the problems and make it a better place to be.

Instead of trying to pacify an already stale and dwindeling PvP portion of Ac as it is now.

Leaving very valuable dev time to creating better content and things to do on the white servers.

Just seems that the last couple of moves towards PvP have been a bandaid more less and not making any real progress.

There is no way to make everyone happy I understand.If, however, there was one team devoted to the cause, it would at least give the greater % of the player base a better patch each month.

Turbine and MS are limited by a budget... this is probably not the most effective way of using resources. :) PK changes such as these weeping weapons should be announced while they're in the planning stage so the community can have their input on it. That's the most effective way of doing it, IMO.

1. PKL has already wiped the NPK servers clean of almost all PK action.

2. Most of the PKs remaining on DT that I know personally are of the type who refused to cheat at the game for two to three years and finally gave in and are now playing characters somewhere between the levels 130 and 220. (Most of the people who absolutely couldn't tolerate cheating left the game or server.)

3. Wiping characters from an NPK server as a means of trying to force them to make a new character on DT would be a great way to lose a customer.

4. Transferring characters and items intact from an NPK server to a PK server would be a great way for DT pks to get lots of free majors and tinked armor. The new DTer wouldn't have DI for the types of deaths he'd have learn to expect by playing DT. He'd not know which allegiances were "dangerous". He wouldn't know which areas were "safe".

Anyway, not a great idea.

We do need a way to transfer characters off of DT, imo. If only because it would mean that people such as myself who didn't want to cheat to play DT would not have had to reroll to keep playing AC (on TD).

I played on DT full time for 3 1/2 years. I was a non exp chaining char. I did love the challenge of DT and met many great people there. Slowly over time my old friends dropped out of AC/DT. Since I never did many quests on DT, I decided to reroll on a white server and try a few. I recently moved to Morningthaw. I am a bit of a purest and do not use 3rd party programs. I also do not use buff bots or trade bots or exp chains. In 2 months of regular play, evenings and weekends, I have gone from level 0-93 on my main char without a single vassal. Rerolling is not the 1-2 year process it used to be in the past and I have been a reroll king (I have done over a 50 rerolls mostly to lvl 60 or so over a 4 year period) and do enjoy the char building process but never has it been this fast or this easy.

Seeing as there is PKL and DT is a very large portion of the cash flow of this game whether anyone likes that or not, I do think it's reasonable for one person to work primarily on PK until it's fixed.

There are numerous bugs. The only balance issue is with archers and how they absolutely suck now, but that kind of has to do with the bugs, anyways.

btw, DT pwns all servers when it comes to majors and items. May be hard to believe since its a PK Zone, but since macroing is not enforced the way it is on whiteservers, as I speak macros r macroing majors and riches, over and over for hours and days. No one really reports any one in DT, if you want them gone - u just kill them.
