Will I be alone?

I know this game has been around awhile, but AC2 has offered me such a great time that this game is certainly attracting my attention. The downside with Ac2 is the populations are so low and things are looking grim. But since this game has been around for a long time I'm wondering if the general population has separated from the newbie areas. If I decide to join the game, will I be alone and for how long?

AC's population is higher than AC2's, but it is divided between more servers than AC2 these days. However, AC does not force grouping at any level. You can hunt solo your character's entire life if you want. Most characters are well past the newbie levels at this point, but it doesn't take very long before you can join the 'big boys' on quests and hunts. I'd suggest looking for a monarchy soon after you start, not for the sake of powerleveling or getting overpowered weapons, but for the social aspects of the game. That being said, do your research very carefully...

You will also find that people are always leveling up a 'reroll' to try something new. Any of the larger guilds should have char's of all levels playing.

Don't worry, you won't be the only one below lvl 50 - I have rerolled 2 chars recently and met a lot of others doing the same (that 7th character slot needs to be filled hehe). And there are players returning after long absence as well - some of them never reached a high level.
If you decide to come to Harvestgain let me know - I am not in a monarchy, but I always enjoy helping others when I can and I am sure I will have the one or other item for you or some newbie quests to show you :)

Welcome to AC1. I'm sure you'll love it! and yes there are lots of noobs. Escpecially with the new Viamont race and extra slot for them almost everyone in our clan has made a noob, mostly blue ones..hehe.

With all the slots and most of us with just a few higher level toons our other toons are all noobs and most of us enjoy playing them too.

I know many of us are hoping they will bring some of the great stuff from AC2 into AC1 now. After all why not? They have the code they won't be stepping on AC2's content there seems to be no reason not to bring some of the stuff that AC1's servers can handle. Like the monsters, the mounts, the pets, the music the friend follow..... hope so.
