I am trying to login for the 1st time in a few years, so please bear with me :)
Right now, with the new launcher, all servers are showing up with Red x's.
Here is what I have done sofar over the past few days:
Downloaded the new installer
Downloaded the new graphics upgrade (I'm pretty sure it ran last night)
Migrated my account
Renewed my subscription
If there is anything else that I would need to do in order to be able to play, I'd greatly appreciate the help :)

Do you have a screen shot of the issue? Not quite sure what you mean by "Red X's"

go into dos and type "tracert (server ip address)". If you post the results on here, please remove the ip address off the first 3 hops.

The request is timing out.
I've also reinstalled AC from scratch & performed a DNS flush if that helps you with anything.
Oh, and I do not have a banned account, hehe.
EDIT:
I received this result from #16:
40ms 44ms 41ms

Does it make any hops at all or does it time out immediately?

Are you able to get to any websites like google.com? If so, do a tracert to that website and see if it puts anything into the first hop. Do not put a screen shot of it.

Timed out on the 1st hop.
I am, however, able to access the web page from my browser.
13th hop gave me this:
13 12 ms 21 ms 23 ms

Ok, do you have a firewall setup, software or hardware?

I have the default XP firewall turned on with ACLAUNCHER.exe being an exception.
I'm using PC-Cillin for my anti-virus software. In the exception's list, I have specified to allow incoming & outgoing access for ACLAUNCHER.exe. Even by DISabling this particular firewall, the servers are still red to me.

Go into Windows Firewall and click on "Exceptions", then click on "Add Port".
You will have to open the following ports:
UDP ports 2008-2010, 2100-2150, 5001, 5002 and TCP Port 8081

Nothing ... zipzeronada.
I added all those ports to the exceptions list and I am still being blocked access to the servers.

Who is your ISP? What model modem are you using? What kind service do you have? What model router do you have? Are you using wireless networking?
There are some people who can not never play AC due to limitation of their internet service, modem or router. I do not know if you fall into that category or not.

I tried to login with both firewalls disabled and I am still being denied.
Hmmm ...
(btw, thanks for all the help :))

ISP: RoadRunner (Brighthouse Networks)
Model Modem: Toshiba PCX2200
Service: High-speed cable
Router: None (I have a direct connection to the Internet from my modem)
Wireless: None (I have a direct connection to the Internet from my modem)

Well, here is where we stand with this issue. The problem is going to either be Windows Firewall or for some very odd reason, your modem, even though there is no built in firewall, is blocking communication to those IP addresses. You will want to get your ISP involved with this matter at this point.

Alright. Well, I've contacted my tech support and they have walked me through a whole bunch of different things:
Turning off both firewalls
Pinging Frostfell (12.129.18.190)
Resetting my modem
Turning off my computer
Tracing Frostfell a few times (it's is tracing now)
And some other things that I can't even remember.
My computer is up and running smoothly, I can connect to the internet, I am able to ping Frostfell and receive replies, I am able to trace the route to Frostfell completely.
But, for some strange reason that no one seems to be able to explain, I am unable to login to the server via the ACLAUNCHER.exe or from the shortcut to Frostfell that it generated.
Anything else that I should try? (Besides contacting Turbine, b/c I already have and am waiting for a response back :))
EDIT:
In a desperate attempt to play AC, I called Turbine Tech Support. The guy told me that he would send me some files to place into my AC folder & I am awaiting his email.
I wish I would've called them sooner! :D
I'll be back with an update :)

Just out of curiosity, were you trying to log in while the servers were down yesterday night? If so, all servers are back up and running now...
brianfryer

Yes, I was trying to login to the server's last night ...
But, I have also been trying this morning for the past 3 1/2 hours, as well.
Go figure ... the day that I come back to AC, the server's are down for repair and when the finally come back up, I can't login.
It's like I'm not meant to play AC, LOL!

Lol, that's nothing try every time you install AC, you have a massive Hard Drive failure and have to low level format your 160 gig drive, and re-install EVERYTHING. Yea...happened to me 3 times in a week.

I've got one even better than that.
My southbridge is, for a lack of a better word, "partially fried".
My PCI slots are not detecting any devices, my primary IDE controller is not recognizing any drives, and one of my intergrated LAN cards is not operating, the one on the southbridge.
Far be it from me the cause of this tragedy, but this just means I expedite the creation of my watercooled computer.
I just hope AC can run on a BFG 6800 Ultra OC Watercooled.
