Help!! Im a lvl 77 mage Trying to fight Withered Lugian Beach, what am I doing wrong?
Im not but as little as Ive done I might as well be, HeHe
Anyway, im out there and cant get my spells to hurt them they resist like hell, I usually hurt something resisting like this with one war spell, then usually can vuln if they were resisting vulns, but dosent work on the withered lugian's, please help me to know how to fight a mage at withered lugian beach.
Hes a lvl 77, 4 school mage with WAR spec'ed, UA, meleeD, magicD, and the other heritage skills for a sho I belive thats his race, the one born with UA.

Anyway, I know I need Missile D to fight out there, but Is there a certain Light rendered weapon to use, the one I have dosent hit very often, dose 695 on small damage and 1695 on high but only hits about every 30 to 40 casts.

Any help at all will be greatly apprecieated.

The Withered Lugians are resistant to any non-projectile magic, so vulns and imps won't work at all.

It's hard for any lvl 77 to hit them consistently, whether they're melee, ranged, or mage. They've got a lot of health, so even if you hit them every time, it's going to take a long time to kill one.

Try to jump on top of the hunt and shoot from there, that might cut down on the number of times you get hit. But otherwise, just keep plinking away at 'em, and sooner or later you'll take one down :)

Your problem is your level. Those monsters were not ment for level 77s to kill. What you should do is, sit on the hut and be a healer/stamer OR go hunt at Sclavus Temple without looting

If you've got melee, try the eater dungeons, either 40 or 70. Or the 60 matron hive. Or the 70 or 60 Tusker Dungeon. There's nothing you're doing wrong, other than trying to hunt stuff that's just too hi lvl for you. You'll make better XP on lower level critters that you can kill easier, and therefore faster.
