Setting the port

Anyone have any idea how to set the port in AC now? They've changed it so you no longer can do it manually apparently. At least the old setup that you'd launch no longer works.

Everytime my husband's machine (wireless connection) tries to log into AC, it knocks my machine off. And vice versa. It's starting to seriously be annoying. I've had this happen before with multiple machines on the LAN, logging into AC, and making sure they weren't trying to use the same port fixed it. It only does this on the wireless connected machine so I'm not certain it's the same issue but I'm hoping it is. =/

Any help would be appreciated.
