Portal and Rumor Colors

Wow, here I am in the new players thread again. I guess having 2 months under my belt now doesn't disqualify me, right?

I asked a similar question to this a while back, but was hoping someone could give a complete list or link to a site with the info.

Mainly, How do the rumor letter colors correspond to appropriate player level, and is it the same for the different colors of portals to dungeons and even towns, etc.

Can anyone help me out? I think it would be valuable info for us new folks, both the brnd spankin' new and the "lightly worn"

I don't know the exact colours and they are not universally true anymore for portals.

Purple is generic and can have anything behind it.

light blue is extremely low level(5, 9)

green is around 20

red used to be 70+ and white used to be 80+ but now I think higher level dungeons can be either, or could be purple.


rumors I don't really know about because I don't follow them. I think some of them have level suggestions on them.

Heya! I think if you assess (right click or selct and then press 'E') the portals and the rumors, it will tell more info.

Like, if you assess an Arwic portal it should sya somethign like, "A walled fortress built on the ruins of a town destroyed by shadows years ago. It is good for characters level 20 and above."

Or the rumors would say, "This is a good adventure for a solo character around level 20."
