However, I've been searching for ways to acquire Asheron's Call--both on the homepage and through browsing posts on the forums--and I haven't been able to learn by what means I am able.

I thought that the Asheron's Call game, as a whole, was available for download from the site and then one could order a CD key in order to activate one's account. Apparently, I was wrong.

So, where can one find Asheron's Call--must I buy it in a store?

What about Dark Majesty? And Throne of Destiny? Do I have to buy each one, or does ToD have AC and DM included in it?

Currently you can't order a cd key alone, they are working on it right now.

As for getting the game now, you can buy it in the turbine store and have it shipped to you, they have copies in stock. Or you can try bestbuy/ebgames/gamestop or any other local retailer, for the most part they pulled the games from the shelves but you'll occasionally find some in stock.


ToD includes the original game/DM and ToD, so only need to buy ToD. Dark Majesty keys no longer work for making accounts so don't buy one, it is useless in every way since the cd doesn't even have the right game launcher or anything on it.

I'd rather just pay for a download, though. That's a shame, too, considering it'd make things much easier for those with broadband/DSL.

Well, they're still planing to have the download feature, but they've delayed it a bit... I'm still waiting for it as well. :(

Let's just hope that Turbine doesn't delay this like they did the Allegance stuff :eek:

For all those who need a key, you can try http://www.gamersloot.net . This is a company that buys games, sells the CD keys and then stores the original box/CD for posterity.

Caveat Emptor and all, but they've been reputable for me for nearly a year now.

I used gamersloot and it worked out great. Got a cd key in 30 mins as opposed to waiting 4 weeks for turbine....
