Make them trade-able!

This way people that pre-ordered will be extra happy that they did.
they now have a high demand tradable item.
They that never had it, will now have the ability to get it.

MMDs are worthless
Items are easy to obtain
10% Health would be the most valueable item in game, but why would anyone trade it for useless items such as MMDs or majors?
Plus the fact you can delete a character and remake him and get the gem.
Another words your idea would kind of be impossible.

OldSchoolACPVP ,
I have no problem with any of that.
The problem i have is pvp blance, and i think this would help it in a posistive direction.
What you mention is a problem with having something avalible to trade for...
which is another problem entirely.

If you make them tradeable, you might as well give them to everyone. Every preorder account can generate can generate over 100 gems a day. Give gem away, delete character, wait an hour, create character, give gem away, rinse and repeat.

if you want to make it a little tuffer, and interesting...
you could make it a quest to make them tradeable.

exactly and people with pre-order are the ones in controll of that.
People would just give them to their friends, no big deal. Making them valueless.

Maybe create a salvage that allows us to make the gem unbonded, but the account then loses the ability to recreate the gem when a new char is created on that account.
I'm suprised those with the preorder gems aren't speaking up much. I wouldn't be too happy if they did this.

I don't want my gems to have no meaning. I stayed and believed in Turbine where most had not. I feel being rewarded for this faith was a great thing. Now that the faithful have the reward you want everyone to have it. Well I say you had your chance to get them like everyone else did. Failure to get them for what ever reason is no excuse. Turbine don't take my faith in you away by offering this reward to everyone.

The only reason pre-ordered was because of the gems, it's not like you all were like "Im loyal I'm going to pre order".
I was a loyal customer and the only reason I preordered some TODs was because of the gem, because other than that I could have gotten the game the same day as those who preordered.
I preordered but I would like to see the gems gone from the game completely, giving people who didn't preorder 10% or even a 5% Aug Gem wouldn't solve the fact that everyone will have 450+ health. The problem is people have too much health.

OldSchool did you miss the patch where they increased the damage in pvp? Seriously, how do you come to these conclusions? That might have been an idea before the march patch. It's actually balanced now.

Yea I did miss it because I unsubbed all of my accounts because damage increases only makes duels quicker and ganks easier. Not something to fight over, which was the real problem.

Its ovious pre-order gems are unbalancing
They shift the balance & give an advantage to only a few,
away from everyone else.

Loyal is paying for months of no patches. That's loyal. Did I get a reward for that? No. Some people pre-ordered and had never played before. It's not a loyalty reward, it's incentive to give them more money.
Personally, I think the people who paid for months of zero content should get something since we paid for a whole software package and got zip out of it, and THEN were expected to pay even more and buy an expansion AND a pre-order. Loyalty was ignored, tyvm.

No, that's flat out retarded.
People who weren't paying and had the common sense to pre-order came out on top.

Hey, I never said it didn't turn out for the best... I was kind of expecting something... I mean, they gave us stuff for downtime and occationally even for rollbacks. Yet we got zip for supporting them when we were getting nothing in return. It IS loyalty. I'm just disappointed that it was mis-placed trust. I suppose I should have known better considering the track record, but oh well.
