Login Probems with a specific account

I can log into the game just fine with my alternate account, but my main account is having problems. When I type in username/pw it never authenticates and I get the corresponding message: Authentication Failed.

My subscription is valid and my login info is correct.

FYI: I tried logging in a few times only on the problem-account right before servers came back up; could this be affecting my login ability on that specific account now that servers are live?

Any answers to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

UPDATE: I was just able to log in once on the problem-account; unfortunately now I have to leave for work, so I can't do any further testing.

I would still like any information on this problem posted here in case I encounter it in the future.

We had some problems with the login servers yesterday. If you continue to get this error please post back.

Our Network Operations department is currently investigating reports of authentication faiulres for all users. This is likely to be unrelated to the problems which HadleyBrin was experiencing, since these problems were not being reported yesterday.

The services on our authentication servers are now responding properly and you should be able to log in successfully.

HadleyBrin, are you still experiencing problems? As Tiggs mentioned, I suspect this would have been from the other authentication issues we experienced during the world upgrade. However, if you are still experiencing problems, please post here and we can try to redirect this thread appropriately. Or, alternately, please contact our Customer Service department at your leisure and they should be able to check things out.
