I play dt have since i started playing ti feel that the marketplace should be a non player killer zone so that we may setup our trade bots and they are easy for everyone to reach if you play dt and think this would be a good idea plz post here maybe we can get this done sometime in the future

Worst idea i have heard in a long time.

A - I do not believe Turbine advocates the use of Tradebots, nor would they want a nice little safe place you can just set up and go to work.

B - These safe zones (houses, apts, villas, mansions) take away from city populations. I doubt creating another place that players can go to escape getting killed would help that at all

It is Darktide for a reason. One of the things i used to admire so much about the way AC organized its PvP structure was that you could be killed at any place, at any time.

And on non-DT worlds, they should make it so that Reds and Pinks can't enter the marketplace and if you "go pink", it portals you to your lifestone.

They should also make PvP an option even on DT.

So when someone wishes to fight you they double click on you and a dialog box comes up asking if you want to fight or not.

If you say yes then they need to agree to your rules. The rules are another tab where you can check on/off the following options,

No vulns
No Rares
No Melee
No Magic
No Missle
No Debuffs
Etc.

If they do not agree to your rules then they cannot attack you. To make it easier, if one person in a fellow agrees to the rules then all the fellows will auto-agree.

If you click no to the fight then they also cannot attack you.

I don't play Dark Tide.

BUT - I do like the way it is set up. It is there for all those who really get into the player killer thing. The "Anywhere - Anytime" is exactly what makes it special. No place is safe but your own home.

DT is a very hard server and you have to be self sufficient to survive.

I am not red dot material - and maybe some of you have mellowed out over the years and red dot is more than you want right now.

Make a charecter on VT - they need players right now. When you are ready, go back to DT and have fun again.

A lot of DT players do that.
