Problem with AC launcher

Sign in goes fine , select world and then launcher simply closes?
happened on both comps / both accts ?
any ideas? :confused:

Can anyone give me a suggestion?
2 days unable to get in game even after complete clean install of AC
Launcher just closes after choice of world.
Firewall turned off
No Router
No new d/l or installed programs

I've never heard of htis happening before, but here's something to check. Next time you do it, note the time.

After that, goto control panel and open administration tools and then event viewer.

Select application and look to see if there are any red circles with an X or yellow triangles with a ! in them at the time you tried launching AC.

If there is open them up and look for acclient.exe or aclauncher.exe in the event and copy/paste what is says in the box on here.

You might want to try delete the AC folder in My Documents and then relaunching the game as well. Keep in mind this will delete your keymaps if you don't back them up first. Simply drag this file out of the AC folder before deleting it and then drag it back in after running the game again, as this will generate a fresh folder.
