Life Ring + Lag

A. The life ring spell is rediculous.

B. With the lag involved lately in DT, it's unavoidable. O sh-t my sticky melee stuck me to the target while he life ringed and I couldn't do anything about it.


Please fix one of the above. TY

Jump.

Just jump.

Hold down the space bar, once it fills, let it go.

Yes - you can still get lagged by it but I find that I get away 99% of the time by doing this.

Also, if you power up a jump and let it go while in a portal or while trying to break a sticky and let it go the jump will happen as soon as it can. You can also hold a directional button to jump any way you like.

Also, also, if you are talking about the initial attack then yeah it can kill you. If you are swinging and they do it then they will be really low on health (so will you) so if you keep swining you can take them out.

Then again you are a streak and/or a harm away from death yourself.

The spell would be fine as is if only it wasn't so easy to double and tripple hit with it. I spose if its impossable to fix that they could just ton the damage down a bit so it doesn't 1 shot high level characters. I like the spell, and I think it should be in the game, but some of the ways in which its exploited just upset too many people.

I am the first to point out what a waste of perfectly good carbon Phrozt is but in this case he has a valid point.

These forums are free market research for Turbine. Do you think changes within AC occur when a flawed idea is criticized only once and never again? It takes repeated bombardment from several players for Turbine to even consider considering an idea. All companies do this when they take in suggestions from their consumers. They may not implement the idea that just a few people put forth but if a large group of people do so, it is a different story.

I love it when people complain about a subject being posted frequently without attempting to question themselves first as to why it is being done.

As for my opinion regarding Raven's Fury, I believe it is overpowered. There is no reason for any spell to one hit a player that is near the maximum endurance and health. Although it is easy to avoid it in some situations, the ability to hit twice or three times in one cast needs to be fixed if the damage is not reduced. Jumping when entering a portal does not always help if that portal is taking you in to a dungeon that has low ceilings or a confined entryway. The very fact that even melees use this spell frequently as a means to PvP tells you that there is a problem.

the ony problem with this spell is when someone camping a drop.

a small fix that make a character immune against tugak for example 5 seconds after leaving a portalspace would be good.

been one-shooted alot of times when recalling /using protals etc.

and with players who have high ping its hard to avoid.

i have about 1 sec delay on all things in game, so the one that camps the drop can cast ravens on me, even when I see that im in portalspace.

this must be the reason why im getting killed by ravens while im in portalspace


5 sec imune vs ravens after leaving a portal and the problem is fixed.

but ofcourse, those ppl who camp drops and use ravens will whine.

cause then they cant apply their pwnt tacics: camp drop and tugak, if ya miss, -recall.
