Well there are many magics but i would like to see more types! the acid, fire, lightning and cold elemental spells get boring why cant we cast like earth, sonic, air, shadow, black fire and that weird looking magic that Martine was casting in the Verdict trailer with the pink colored ring spells and all...i know it would be hard but i would like to know where all of it came from..and how about pet summoning?

this should be on the general board, but to answer your question, it would be way too much work to add new damage types to the game. There is a dev quote on CoD from years ago stating they wanted to have a "light" element, but it would be too much work to add it to all the systems in the game. This was back in 99-01 when the staff was much bigger than it is now. We probably wont ever see new damage types added to AC.

That doesn't mean they can't add more unique spells though. There are a lot of spells with cool effects, the problem is most of them are built in spells on wands, like the invoker, the staff of palanqual, impious staff, etc. It would be nice if turbine made more quest spells that players can learn, like the virindi spells.

okay but what is that magic that Martine was using in the Verdict movie with the pink ring spell and the shockwave in the middle?

The magic Martine uses in the Verdict movie is Virindi magic, given to him by Aerbax through the removal of his mind's limits, as well as the Virindi augmentations done to his corporeal form. The waves of energy he uses is/are flux energy (as I call it, as I am not aware of a proper name) which is the type of energy used by the Virindi in portal space.

that spell martine used was virindi magic. As far as the game system goes, I think it might have been pure damage with elemental or physical property. It is a spell that only the devs can learn and use, much like BZ's spells.

That's from the ancient and little-known school of magic known as "Suicidancy". The main reason little knowledge of that school survives to this day is that it's very difficult to train an individual in its practices. After all, you can only do the spell once...
