This thread has been made to condense the large number of sticky threads that were on the forum. Please make sure that you check this thread for updates to rules and information.
AC Forums rules.
1. While participating in the Asheron's Call Forums, you must respect the rights of others to participate in the community. To this end you may not harass, defraud, threaten or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other members.
2. You may not use sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language.
3. You may not distribute or spotlight sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive content.
4. You may not impersonate any Turbine Entertainment Software or Microsoft employee, past or present.
5. You may not violate any local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
6. You may not market, promote, advertise or solicit within the Asheron's Call Forums.
7. You may not form or participate in groups whose ideology is based on or resembles anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-sexual orientation, racist, sexist philosophies.
8. Making short posts for the sole purpose of moving your thread up the forum ("bumping") is not allowed.
9. You may not upload or transmit copyrighted material, without the express consent of the copyright holder.
10. In the Asheron's Call Discussions forum, do not create a new thread on a topic if there is currently a thread on that topic on the front page of the forum.
11. You may not post the details of any in-game exploit or cheat. This information should be communicated to Turbine Entertainment Software personnel privately.
12. Posts should be constructive in nature. Do not make posts or threads that are off-topic, solely intended to incite controversy, present misinformation, and/or regarding a personal issue with another user. Posts and threads that do not meet this criteria in the opinion of the moderation staff will be locked or removed
13. Issues and questions regarding forum policies and procedures should be sent to Frelorn via private message or email, not posted on the boards.

Throne of Destiny Known Issues
This is compiled from issues reported to us since the ToD launch. I'll be updating it as new issues are reported or resolved. Contact information for Turbine Customer Service and Technical Support can be found at http://ac.turbine.com/index.php?page_id=173
I Pre-Ordered Throne of Destiny and was promised a Pre-Order Key but did not receive one.
First, contact your Retailer. If your Retailer is unable to assist, please contact Turbine Customer Service. Please be aware that we cannot provide Pre-Order Boxes to end users as we do not have them in stock, but we may be able to assist with keys. If you were promised a Box by your retailer and are not receiving one, you will need to contact your retailer.
I am trying to download the Graphics Upgrade and I am unable to because I am on dial-up.
Please contact Turbine Customer Service.
Where do I enter my AC:TD retail key?
In your Turbine Billing account you should see "Asheron's Call" under available subscriptions. Click there.
Do I have to enter my Pre-Order key before my Retail key?
Technically, no. However if you enter a Retail key and log in to the game prior to entering your Pre-Order key, you may not receive your bonus gem. Please see the issue above.
I entered my Pre-Order key but I still don't have access to AC:TD content.
This is by design, you need an AC:TD retail product key in order to access AC:TD content.
I'm not able to create a Viamontian character or start in Sanamar.
Please try exiting the Asheron's Call client and restarting it.
I should be higher than level 126 but I am still level 126.
Please try exiting the Asheron's Call client and restarting it.
My Ancient helm looks strange!
Try unequipping and re-equipping it.
My hooked Golden Gromnie and Bronze Statues look strange.
Please unhook and rehook them.
My dyed armor looks bad and/or I don't like my character's face anymore.
We are aware of these complaints. We are currently investigating possible courses of action.
Changing the font options works for the chat display, but not for my chat entry bar.
We are aware of this issue and are discussing possible options for the future to resolve it.
I am receiving an error, "Could not initialize Direct3D. Please ensure that Directx 9.0 or higher is installed."
Try upgrading to DirectX 9.0c from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/directx), also make sure you have the latest video drivers for your video card. If these do not work, it is possible that your video card is not DirectX 9 compliant, please contact your video card retailer.
I am receiving an error, "The game cannot be started without a launcher."
You are most likely starting the old pre-AC:TD launcher from a shortcut. Please make sure to click the icon labeled "Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny".
I can't run with the arrow keys, only with the WASD keys.
When I try to move my cursor in chat, it highlights the text instead of just moving.
Try toggling your NumLock, that should resolve this.
If I select a creature that is off radar and examine it, the ID panel doesn't update.
We have filed a bug on this issue, no ETA on a fix.
My characters shows a very strange amount for my next level, it seems way too high.
Please completely exit out of the AC:TD client and log back in.
I can't see any of my old characters!
Please make sure that you are using the correct Turbine Billing account. We have had multiple reports from players that created a brand new Turbine Billing account instead of upgrading their existing account.
There are also situations in which players whose accounts were cancelled due to payment failure have accidentally created a new ACTD subscription that cannot see their old pre-ACTD account.
In either case, please contact Turbine Billing support, either via phone at 781-407-4020 or via the Fuze support system.
We are aware of client issues experienced when running the game with certain ATI video cards, most often on 9600 and later models and PCs with 1GB or less of system memory. These issues include graphical corruption, crashes to desktop, and Windows blue screens. We're currently working directly with ATI to resolve these issues. I'll post more information as soon as I have it.
Important Live Events Information
I just wanted to take a moment to help clarify a few thing in regards to Live Events.
First off, all the IDs of Turbine staff contain special characters, such as the PLUS symbol [ + ]. If anyone ever approaches you and asks you to participate in a Live Event please be sure they have this + symbol. The only exceptions of course would special dev controlled creatures such as Scary Pumpkin and Mr. P.
With that said, NO ONE from Turbine will ever ask you to give them items that are not easily replaceable. For example, Mr. P simply asks for cookies and cake, not 20 MMDs and or 10 tinked armor.
If you are ever in doubt please do not hesitate to contact in game support (the Envoys). They will be able to help sort things out immediately.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion with past and future events.
