Have any numbers been announced lately on an approx of how many took up on the free trial or returning players that resubbed? If so is there a link or is this some confidential information? Hints? :D

Turbine hasn't given any hints to population in YEARS...ever since they took off the population counter at the login screen. Wow, thats been a while.

From personal experience, I can tell you that my allegiance has gained a plethera of new and returning players (20 or so), and I see a lot of new people running around.
