Suggestion ..

Again the authentication servers had some problems today ..

.. but when a new customer goes to log in, the browser in the AC Launcher still contains the announcement for the authentication server outage scheduled for last November 30th :eek: .. and nothing about today's problem.

Where this was a unintended longer outage, should you not update it to help the new folk from not hitting thier head on the wall thinking they have problems on their own client? :rolleyes:

Just an idea .. (I'm a admin in a large company that understands the same problems .....) ;)

That thing is never up too date :mad: It's like the last thing on the "to do list". I'm sure we're not the only ones that read it for current news from turbine and since it is something that everyone that plays this game sees, should be given more attention. <3

I acknowledge that we made mistakes in the way we handled publicizing today's downtime, and I apologize for the inconvenience. In normal cases, we would have done exactly as you said and updated the launcher news page.
